Beau’s two 5 point majors LC in Virginia Aug 21-22,2010

Beau ran his second AKC trial at Great Meadows, The Plains,Va.  CHAMP trial against 23 other open whippets to win his first five point major. We returned Sunday and hoped he would do well enough for a few more points. Again large entry 21 open 21 specials, whippets. Beau ran two more near perfect runs. He cleanly won open stakes with a three point spread to second place. In good shape for breed run-off, not haveing to do any tie run-offs in Open. Breed run-off he grabbed bunny on first turn and it sent him rolling about four turns. When he found his feet under himself he took off and caught the special and passed with ease. The remainder of course was again his. He won Breed and then ran off for Best in trial and won Best in Trial. Not bad for 15 mos. old second time at AKC trial. We are thrilled he loves his bunnies.

We ran ASFA lure coursing in Hanover Pa. this weekend. Sat. we arrived only to do the JC runs after ASFA trial ended. All pups Ace, Elsa and Tailor got thier first JC runs. As they had been running ASFA they ran the next day Sunday. Ace won first in Open. Elsa and Tailor tied in a four way tie for 2-3-4-NBQ. They were hot but we had to go for the runoffs.
Beautiful runoffs by both, they finished the ASFA trial behind their brother, Tailor got 2nd, Elsa got 3rd. Elsa had an amazing comeback on her second run to get into that runoff. Still after all that they had to now run thier second day JC test. I could not have asked for anymore from the kids.Going 1-2-3 and earning thier JC in same weekend. (Can you tell PROUD MOM) …Bheki
